Scientists are working on making teeth regrow the crystals that make up dentin and enamel. This process could eliminate drilling and filling to combat tooth decay. Sally Marshall, a professor at the University of California at San Francisco, is looking for a way to catch decay early and cause teeth to start “remineralizing”.
Marshall’s newest work, which has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Structural Biology, focuses on regrowing dentin in damaged teeth with the help of a calcium-containing solution of ions (electrically charged particles).
By putting a layer of the solution on individual test teeth, Marshall has already been able to remineralize some parts of the teeth. The challenge is to get the crystals to regrow throughout the dentin. To heal properly, the crystals need to form from the bottom of the tooth up to the enamel. Marshall isn’t sure whether that’s happening yet, but she is confident that she’ll find a way to restore dentin functionality over the next few years. When this technology progresses to popular use, our grandchildren won’t believe our stories about the dentist’s drill!

Dental Applications

To promote prevention of tooth decay and the rapid healing of dental procedures, more and more dentists are using our O3 Gel and Colloidal Silver as anti-pathogens and disinfectants.
03 Gel is an effective anti-pathogen product that has produced many amazing healing experiences, and does not appear to have any negative side effects.
Dental application methods with 03 Gel have been developed and are successful in healing gingivitis, halitosis, local lymph congestion and infections and possibly dental caries. There have been immediate (1 day) and complete "cures" from blazing herpes mouth and lip infections simply by rolling up a cot full of 03 Gel and placing it between the lip and gum close to the infection site. These "cots" can be easily prefabricated and packaged individually.
As preventative to dental decay, brushing once a week with 03 Gel works quite well. As a preparation for any dental procedure, brushing with 03 Gel stops pathogens, thus preventing infections and therefore dramatically decreasing the need for antibiotics. The residual oxygen "by product" leaves a healthier environment for the natural healing processes.
Application to inflamed teeth and gums and to areas of acute dental pain is quickly soothing and often reduces pain by 90%. This means that instead of having to drop your work and rush to the dentist for emergency treatment, it will allow time for more convenient scheduling.
Based on my experiences in my dental practice, I can recommend using Colloidal Silver for dental application.
Colloidal Silver is a very old anti-bacterial, anti-fungus and anti-virus. Already long ago, silver was used as a workable remedy against threats of infections and decay. Drinking from silver cups and eating with silver cutlery was not only a luxury, it was mainly a protection against infection.
In space technology, Colloidal Silver is used to disinfect water, and farmers used to throw silver coins in the milk when the milk company was late in collecting the milk, or the weather was too hot.
These are all reasons to take a closer look into the use of silver as an infection remedy, moreover because silver does not generate any side-effects. Only extremely prolonged use of impure silver used to turn people blue in th past -- a disorder which is called argyria. Hence the term "blue blood" for old noblemen (and women)! But this has nothing to do with a good solution of colloidal silver, as is nowadays manufactured.
In my practice I use Colloidal Silver to prevent and handle infections coming from bacteria, fungi and viruses. For example, as anti-bacterial I use CS for abcesses, periopical infections, rootcanal treatments, parodontal infections, perimplantitis and as a preventative when placing implants. I use a dose of 15-20 ppm which is stronger than the normal maintenance dose which can be used against infections.
Viral infections such as common colds and herpes can also be successfully treated with CS, as well as fungi of the mouth and irritations on the tongue.
I recommend in the treatment of infections a dose of 10 spoonfuls a day of 10-15 ppm CS. For purposes of maintenance and to prevent infections I recommend 2 spoonfuls a day.
